5 - 7 October 2011 The upcoming conference EnviroInfo Ispra 2011 will cover the complete field of processing environmental information prepared and distributed with cutting edge ICT technologies. The conference will comprise the field of Environmental Informatics, i.e. informatics applications for the environment, including the moni-toring of environmental status and threats, integrated environmental assessment and reporting, the model-ing of environmental changes, environmental man-agement information systems as well as the analysis of the interplay between society and the environ-ment. Particular emphasis will be put on innovative applications supporting the sharing of environmental observations, complex modeling processes and simulation techniques. EnviroInfo 2011 also wel-comes contributions describing applications support-ing environmental policies, and the further integration of environmental information in European research programs.
