The Department of Computational Landscape Ecology (CLE) invite applications for a position on Scientific coordination and management of research activities at UFZ in the field of land use options and biodiversity (m/f) to commence as soon as possible. The appointment is for an initial period of 3 years, an extension is aspired. The position has four facets: scientific management of the research topic on land use options and biodiversity of the UFZ, supporting the exchange between the scientific directorate and the core group of researchers in the area, identification, implementation and support of core-projects, and developing and organization of overarching/synthesis publications and outreach activities.
